Thanks for checking out our church! We want you to know a little bit about us, so you'll know what to expect when you connect with us.

We are a community made up of people of all ages, life stages, and backgrounds.
We are a community of imperfect people who can't make ourselves perfect.
We are a community of people who have found true forgiveness, freedom and fulfillment in Jesus Christ.

We're all about Jesus at The Harbour!

We exist to glorify God – plain and simple. Our ultimate goal in everything we do as a church is that Jesus would be exalted, made known, and honoured in our church and our community.

A big part of glorifying God is stepping into the mission he has for us to do. The work of this mission is called discipleship.

Discipleship has two parts:
Pursuing a growing walk with Jesus ourselves
AND helping others come to know and grow in him.

That's what we're working toward.

We can tell we're living out this life of discipleship when we're:

Intentionally pursuing a relationship with Jesus - beyond Sunday morning

Living our lives as a pouring out of praise to Jesus

Making it a priority to submit to Jesus' Lordship and leadership

Intentionally showing love to others, inside and outside the church

Making it a priority to build strong relationships with others, viewing these relationships as opportunities for sharing the Gospel and growing together.

Caring about the well-being of our community and stepping up to serve our city

Doing our part to see the growth of God's Kingdom

Pursuing spiritual growth: to increasingly know God's Word and do God's Word

Pursuing growth in our God-given potential, talents, resources and spiritual gifts

Through consistent prayer, serving in our community, building relationships, and teaching the Gospel, our goal is to see as many people as possible experience the life-changing power of Jesus Christ,
and for them to be able to go into their world and help others do the same!

What We Believe

Our core message is the Gospel - the good news about Jesus, as seen in the Bible, which is our final authority in matters of life and doctrine:

There is one God, by whom and for whom all things exist

We have separated ourselves from God by our sin

God's solution for our sin is his Son Jesus Christ

Jesus died on a cross to pay for our sin and rose from the grave victorious over death

We are saved by accepting Jesus' sacrifice and repenting of our sin

We are called to follow Jesus with our whole lives

If we're saved, we will spend eternity with Jesus
